Newsflash! Thirty Five Years Ago Today....

I remember finding out about it at work the next morning. I guess I didn't watch the Monday night game that week.
 
I do still remember where I was when I got the news. I was a high school senior. Somehow that was more memorable than when Reagan got shot. And I do NOT mean that as a political statement. Just that I remember the Lennon assassination more.

I was too young to remember the Kennedy assassinations or MLK much.
 
I was watching that MNF game :(

The news for Dimebag, I work 3rd shift, and we have tv's in our break rooms. I was in the break room just before the shift started and the news came on about Dime :(

I was in my dorm room. It was morning or early afternoon. My door was open. One of the other students - a guitarist, of course - popped his head in, and said "Dimebag Darrell was shot and killed onstage last night!". Surreal, given it being the anniversary of Lennon's murder, which I obviously wasn't alive for.
