It's a little over the top, but I can appreciate the work that went into it. It probably sounds amazing.
 
Yeah, that is a little over the top for my taste. Also, I would have to put stickers on the neck for fret markers to be comfortable with playing it.

I guess I see this kind of thing as more of an intentionally over the top piece to show off the skills of the builder than a practical instrument.
 
So, how much "warmth" is that rosewood board imparting on this instrument? I don't think fretboard wood matters in any case, but it'd be really tough to make that sale here.
 
Hideous......way too much. It takes some great art work and ruins it by having too much in a small space. No room for the design to breath,
 
I'm kind of looking forward to the day when we see a fingerboard full of solid inlay, without even the tiniest dot of visible rosewood or ebony.
