The THIRD Seedy Table In The Dark Corner Where The Reprobates Gather

$850 for the door. The rest is labor at $48 an hour, which is actually a low rate nowadays. My company charges $60 an hour.

so.....is the guy/company going to pay for the damages?
or is he going to get tied up with the cops?

I filed a claim with my insurance. Gave them the police report and Jimmy's number. I'll let them deal with the rest. I need my truck for work and don't have time to screw with Jimmy.

That's the best thing to do at this point. Let the insurance company go after the driver/driver's insurance company to pay for it.

My neighbor across the street backed into my step daughter's POS used and abused Focus, denting the fender a little and destroying one of the hubcaps. He was super apologetic about it and even went out and bought her a new set of hubcaps! He's from Cuba, currently working at NASA and is a class act.

We gladly repaid the favor when we chased off a burglar trying to break into his house via the front door.

I had a guy back up into my Jeep in the private parking lot I use. He was in his truck while I was in my vehicle. My Jeep was only 6 months old at the time and he just dented the drivers door. I called police right away and got a police report. In FL where I live now there is no No-Fault so I had his insurance company take care of the repair and loaner car until mine was completed. Originally they were just going to replace the door's metal skin but later ended up replacing the entire door. Fortunately for me this whole thing went very smooth. Good luck with your claim.

Good as new.

looks a lot better.

any word on the perp?

Nah. Last I heard, the company owner was denying it. The insurance company has the details and say they'll break his legs if he doesn't pay so I'm not worrying about it any more.
I figure my $1,000 deductible is gone for good, though.

what do you mean your deductible is gone for good. those apply for each incident.

and btw......who's you insurance company? Vito's Guarantee??

I was told if the insurance collects from the crasher, I could get my deductible back. With no witnesses, it's doubtful they'll collect anything, so I figure I'll never see my $1k again.
Vito? He's a pussy. We only use Fat Tony.

I have a set of Fender alnicos of one variety or another. I also have a Fender Texas Special neck pickup. But that's probably more powerful than you are looking for. I'd look for a used Duncan to go with that.

I may go Esquire. I'm coming to the conclusion that a tele bridge pickup is so awesome that anything you put with it is a compromise of one sort or another.
