As a forum member of lesser quality, I'd like to comment about someone else, The Mighty Thor.
He started out as The Mighty Thor with a backing band, mostly doing acts of strength with his big finale,
getting someone to sledgehammer a concrete block on his stomach while he layed onstage.
His backing band put out a punkish cassette, he got serious about his music and just became Thor.
That wrecked his career right away.
I was in Canadian Tire at the edge of town, one really cold and blizzardy evening, and Thor was there.
He was riding his motorcycle and wanted to get to Toronto, over a 100 miles away.
We got talking, he remembered me at a matinee jam, and he bought a cheap football helmut to keep his head warm.
That's the last time I saw The Mighty Thor, riding away in a snowstorm, going down the highway. He waved goodbye.
Newly chastised as a forum member, by Mr. Mark Wein himself, I'll make no mention of Thors' hammer.
