So yesterday I was on a delivery run for work...I had just got on I-84 eastbound going under an overpass when a giant clot of snow and ice smashed the windshield of my van...luckily it didn't cave but it was pretty much opaque from the cracks...

...I wonder what I did that made god start taking pot shots at me...???

check evil potato for possible demon possesion.

That sucks. When I was driving a delivery truck I once had a flatbed lose a load of truck bedliners in front of me on the 5 freeway. I had one bounce off the roof of the truck cab. Any lower and I'd have been toast.

Busted windshield buddies! I had a chip that turned into a full width crack when the slush from the roof slid down at a traffic signal.

Look. It's a giant Japanese salamander.

If I were creating the world I wouldn't mess about with butterflies and daffodils. I would have started with lasers, eight o'clock, Day One!

This weather is something here. Yesterday, we had rain from morning until about 2 PM. I was driving west from Snoqualmie toward Seattle. Then walls of clouds that were kissing the mountaintops (how poetic ) parted all of a sudden, then we had crystal-clear blue sky for awhile, with occasional clouds in the distance. So I goes to a noisy chain establishment to have dinner and catch some of the Blackhawks game: went in with the sun setting around 7:15. When I left, it was rain/snow/sleet/ice, then it just stopped...

Strange place, this.
