Dig it! The Perpetual Pedalboard of the Day Thread

Thanks for the tuner @Guitar Heel ...:thu:

Small board for gig this Friday, doing one tune at a show here.

Thinking I may have to double up on the AC Tone and Spark mini eventually, so I can have a simple board ready for those kinds of gigs rather than bring the huuuge one I'm building these days. :embarrassed:

Wow, an Ibanez Pan Delay. You don't see those often. Too bad you're not running in stereo.

I really want to try it one day. But considering the amps I have, I probably would be better off trying a wet/dry rig (Victory V3o and Vox AC30). Think stereo would be quite weird with those two amps.

That delay sounds really good btw, if you're into that sort of delay (I loooove any delay). Bought it as a 16 year old kid and still use it some times. :)

I like panning delays over the typical wet/dry setup. But yeah, the opportunity to use them are few and far between.

If you’re using the AC Tone for a Voxish sound, you may want to give the Boss Combo Drive a try. I’m not sure what they go for in you neck of the world, but you can find them for under $50 used over here all day long. It’ll get you a good AC style sound and it’s a Boss, so it’s built like a tank. Even @Help!I'maRock! liked mine

For tonight’s jazz combo concert. I’m actually using the boost side of the King of Tone to fatten up my jazz Sound with the Les Paul. I’m using the delay almost like a Reverb and the chorus is for one tune that needs a more modern (like 80’s modern) Sound.

I’m bringing my ‘76 Deluxe Reverb I think.

Does it have huge headroom though?

I have to hit mine with about 30db of treble booster usually.
Only way to get that Queen sound. For some reason I can't hit the front end of the AC30 I have that way, because of the rectumfrier tube. The fx loop doesn't work as it should if I hit the front end that hard. :embarrassed:

It's a digital pedal. Sounds great though.

The TR-2 is a Keely modded one and it's got a volume control so you can actually volume match, which is nice. But I only ever have the slightest, most imperceptible warble dialed in.

The newer TR2 doesn't have a volume drop. They learned a lot from the modders and have implemented a bunch of unannounced changes because of them.
