The SE Hollowbody Standard features an all-mahogany body with hollow construction for a warm, resonant tone. The 22 fret wide fat neck, PRS adjustable stoptail bridge, and 58/15 “S” pickups further promote the SE Hollowbody Standard’s big, clear, balanced voice. This vintage-inspired instrument combines the power and stability of a solid-body electric guitar with the captivating, resonance of a hollowbody instrument, making the SE Hollowbody Standard at home with players of all styles.

I wish they would use a bridge and stop bar on their guitars. I would like the option to add a Bigsby or a Duesnberg vibrato but can't without drilling into the body.

This is going to be a great guitar for all the boomer musicians whose bad backs can’t even tolerate the weight of a PRS semihollow.

Creates a bit of consternation for me. I have the Zach Meyers model on my GAS list, and now this critter comes along.

In looking at the specs, they both have the same PRS bridge, which is good; the Hollow Body Std has a mahogany top with an ebony FB and PRS 58/15 "S" and the Zach Meyer semi-hollow has a maple cap with a rosewood FB and 245 "S" pickups.

A true GAS'r would just get both.

But no spare room in the herd right now. :frown:

Crap I am lusting after these now. I thought I was immune to GAS.

Maybe a hot wing will take my mind off of it. :hotwing:
