My iPhone does the same thing. I think key frame motion thing throws off the orientation.

If you rotate a pic on your phone… save… then rotate again so it’s the right orientation, save again, then come back to the forum, it will upload fine. I have to do that here about 25% of the time.
 
Took advantage of a high wind day to make my hair a little more interesting than usual.
