I haven't seen many guitar sales lately. Demand is too high and supply is too low.
I heard somebody at Guitar Center say one day that they haven't been running sales on stuff because revenue's been low.
This being said at the time that Fender was like "OMG!!! RECORD YEAR!!! SO MANY GUITARS!!!".

Just means people aren’t buying from GC. Cant blame them, every guitar I pickup at GC just feels like garbage. They don’t take care of their inventory
As a former employee, we weren't allowed to take care of the guitars. I got yelled at often for sneaking that in.

I wonder how much of that is corporate wide or individual store. My local GC used to be awesome, they were always tuning the guitars and strings never felt like they were 6 years old. That was early 2000s, it isn't like that anymore.

They are re running the USA Strat in antique olive deal again. I got one last time they ran this deal, and unlike the Jaguar it is a reasonably weighted and very nice Strat. A keeper, which is really saying something for me.
