The Great Deals Thread

Other than ,more watts, is there any difference between the Mustang I, II, III, IV, and V

Yes. The amount of available amps and effects to be modeled on board. With Fuse software that comes with all of them I believe you can get everything no matter which amp you have. On the higher numbered mustangs I think you can also have more effects going at once.
For example, on my mustang 1, you can only have 2 effects at a time on board but through Fuse you can have a whole chain.

Mustang III is great, i love it. I could have saved some money if i had waited though. :embarrassed:

Mustang III and IV combos come with Celestion speakers, too.

To get a MIII for ten bucks more than what the MII was selling for new is a steal IMO.

Ah! That part I didn't know. That definitely makes the deal.

My local Best Buy had an open box Mustang III for $178. I got it home and the only thing open was the shipping carton. I brought it with me to my lesson today and Mark ran through every tone preset and played a riff that matched every one. His conclusion? There are only 10 or so different sounds out of the 100.

The presets are garbage.
