You could have a fat strat style loaded pick guard and a dual P90 pick guard that could be dropped in depending on your mood. Quick disconnects mean that you wouldn't have to solder to the input jack. Plug n play.
I love this idea. A lot.

This was the original concept with Music Man guitars. The Silhouette and the original Axis (which became the Albert Lee) were to have that day's equivalent of quick connects and you could swap out the pickguards to get your desired sounds for that day/session/gig. I'd assume that if you have a good locking trem you could have swapped between songs or at least sets at a gig.
Then I think someone realized the most musicians wouldn't bother. That, however, was not as big a concern as the idea of cannibalizing guitar sales.![]()
I saw the pics up on FB of you with this last night after band practice and was trying to figure out what the heck you were playing. Very sweet looking guitar - Mark did a great job. Plus it has all that P-Stock mojo in it as well.
Zack..?
Is this the guy who made you guitar?

I bet if you try you can squeeze in a few more pickups.
Pretty cool guitar. Are you going to do some demos of the different pickup configurations?
added a couple of of features like a blower switch and a treble bleed that can be switched in or out depending on my needs.
:hmm:
