The death metal appreciation thread part deux

I am actually planning to do a cover of this song with a drummer friend. I am learning to play it. Safe to say my arm hurts. Badly :lol:

For the past few years, Gary Holt has been struggling with keeping up with his riffing speed of stuff he has recorded over the years and needs to play live (some kinda repetitive stress/wear/age or whatever). Dude is a monster player and he has to slowly and gradually work his way back into shape and take breaks when he's getting back into touring playing shape.

Gene Hoglan learned on Lombardo's set while being Slayer's drum tech (or some other sort of tech), and then he taught Lombardo how to do it.
