The best Reaction video ever

It is hard to believe, when you're a geezer like me that grew up with this stuff, that there's a whole generation that's not familiar with it. Add to it that classic/prog rock didn't get much, if any, play on R&B stations just adds to it. I love this guy's reaction to this Genesis classic.

He has some technical difficulties in the beginning. It doesn't really start until about 9:50 in.

That album is the pinnacle of prog rock in my opinion. Funny thing is in all of the documentaries all of the other Genesis members are always poo-pooing it as if they never really understood the genius of Peter Gabriel at all. Tony Banks recollection of Genesis' music is always related to his keyboard parts, oblivious to the retarded lyrics and concepts in their first couple of albums without Gabriel. Lamb had a story you had to read in the centerfold in addition to Gabriel's genius lyrics throughout the album. And Banks playing it at its peak in this album, as well as Hackett's guitar work. Even Eno had a hand in the production (or novelty noise making). This and Quadrophenia are the best concept albums ever produced.

This particular reaction guy is one of the ones that offer little meaningful reaction or feedback, you just watch him listening the whole time.

A Trick of the Tail is good. The albums get progressively worse after that.

Musically it was great. Conceptually it just paled in comparison to Gabriel and especially Lamb. I believe the entire group was chipping in for lyrics around that time. Also why they are still sour grapes over Lamb, Gabriel took full control of the concept.

I have seen a lot of reaction videos and that one isn't even close to the best. Firstly, there is hardly any reaction.

This is a reaction video:
