I like both of those movies a lot, especially Ran, which is one of the most visually gorgeous films this side Kieslowski or Malick...

But I don't even think that The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly is Leone's best; I'd probably give that to Once Upon a Time in America.

I like Once Upon a Time in the West better than GB&U.

When I said Once Upon a Time in America, I meant Once Upon a Time in the West... so, thanks for saying that!

Henry Fonda made one of the best villains ever, Claudia Cardinale was stunning, Jason Robards was great, Bronson was Bronson, better screenplay, better cinematography, better Morricone score...
 
I loved Robards in that one. God he had a great character, and pulled it off so very well.
