The Absolutely Scientifically Provable Best Strat Color

these colors work for me. and sunburst, but not clownburst.

My Am Std strat is the gun metal blue from the early 90s w/ a maple board...it's awesome.

Sonic blue, Mary Kaye White/White Blonde, and there might be others.

Holy shit, my Strat will be 30 years old in 2022... I remember reading about vintage 1957 Strats in the mid-late 80's...now I have one...sorta kinda...

I absolutely love my antique olive Strat (like the one Smurf just sold).
It's unusual, but pretty striking. I liked it when I saw it and its just as nice in person.
Not a color I would have answered as the ultimate, or even thought or known about 2 weeks ago.
For the longest time I've loved Burgundy Mist as far as the old auto finish colors go.

But really the truly definitive Strat color for me is the good ol sunburst/rosewood, preferably beat to hell like Rory Gallaghers or SRVs. Thats what I'd go for in a big bucks true vintage spec Strat.

I really like Fiesta Red, Seafoam Green, Mary Kaye, and (yes) Antigua, but I like by Black Strat best.
