Common misfit
You assume I'm watching the game.
I'm just waiting for it to end. There's a new episode of Elementary on after.

Morning all.
Watched the SB yesterday with my girlfriend and her friend, which followed with her going to the bar and calling us. Her friend has a REAL problem with alcohol. She has gotten 3 DWI's, doesn't have a license for a few more years, but my girlfriend insists that she's such a great friend and person, and she wants to make sure she doesn't get in trouble. She wouldn't leave with us at the end of the night, and was going to leave with a guy she knew, and go back to her house and 'cuddle'. How do you deal with alcoholics? How do you help them? Her parents obviously don't care. When she was in rehab, her dad even peed for her so she could pass her drug test. They even let her drink at home without saying a thing. I guess something bad has to happen for her to get it.
Monday!
Late shift this week starting last night. Of COURSE the only call I got yesterday was right smack dab in the middle of the Super Bowl - you know, the exciting part ...oh, well. I guess that's better than getting NO calls, then worrying about what's around the corner. They can't keep paying me to do almost nothing...
So today, I'm gonna clean up and restring the Midtown, and I will probably head out and get a multieffect, or at least a delay and reverb thingy to go with my sweet new Excelsior -DAMN, that thing is great for the price. The naysayers can KMA .
With that many people enabling her, help is hard.
Dammit, EG, I can't wait anymore, it's 13F out here. Plus, my mom wants me to take her to Walmart to get her daily ammo ration.
She has to hit rock bottom and seek help. If she's not willing to recognize her problem, there's not much you can do.Morning all.
