Great Movie. I don't know how they did it but when Ladd fires that 6 shooter it sounds like a cannon.
"Shane. Shane. Come back, Shane!"
I just found out one of the less desirable day shift cow-orkers is moving to a different department.
I'm next in line for a day spot.
Two birds, one stone!
:bluesdance:
Tig - I have felt that when someone leaves a department the remaining people become more valuable. A good thing.
Morning...
My company sent a heads up that they will be blocking gmail and other "external" mail and sure enough they did this morning. I have tried the work arounds I could find - but they seem to have it locked down really tight. I have not tried a mail client- but not sure I want to go that route. If anyone knows a work around speak up. BUT I can access here.
In speaker news: I swapped the Celestion G10N-40 into the Laney. It sounds at least as good as the Weber Blue Pup I had in there. When I throw a pedal on this afternoon I'll have a better idea if this Celestion is a better match for the Laney.
Afternoon. Waiting to go on a team conference call in a bit; should be a hoot
Well, I'm having second thoughts about the POD HD500 I recently got. Again, although it does what it does well, it's a jack of all trades and master of none - the Line 6 conundrum. If I was gigging, I would seriously think about using one for the versatility, but since I'm not...I just really like the sound of an amp, be it tube or a good SS. My Mustang III stomps the crap out of it tonewise, whereas the L6 is much more versatile, but the amp sounds are actually kinda "meh" - some are good, some outright suck, and that is spending hours playing with settings and tweaking everything. With the Mustang, it's select a basic amp preset, tweak the tone stack onboard to taste, maybe dial in a bit of reverb, and there you go. So, I'm probably going to bring back the POD HD and the powered PA speaker and get either a Tweaker 15 (for the second time) or a Blues Jr III .
