I used to work for one of the discount store chains in a town that was surrounded by reservation land. I tell this with a great deal of apprehension about sounding racist but it's just the way it was. Anywho, we had a problem with some of the native americans stealing gold spray paint to huff. Sometimes I would leave the store and find someone kicked back against the side of the building with gold spray paint all over his mouth and nose. Apparently the gold works best.
 
Why do you think goldtops were so popular back in the day?
Not because the customers wanted them, but because the guys in the paint shop did. :grin:

They say that gluttony is not a vice that can be hid. I would say that paint huffing isn't either. I was just painting a pedal enclosure and got paint on my hand and had to use acetone to get most of it off.

I remember an episode of "Cops" where 2 brothers were full time gold paint huffers. They were completely null and void, and their brains were toast! One had eaten some of his fingers earlier in the year. :eek:
 
I knew a kid in school who I swear I watched his iq go down about a hundred points when he started huffing anything he could get his hands on.
