That Seedy Table In The Dark Corner Where The Reprobates Gather

I sent this to Zemmy's sister. Thought I would share with you guys here for those that knew Zemmy. I'm lazy and just pasting the message I sent her on FB.

I wanted to share with you the strange evening I had on Scott's birthday. That night, I had a shot of whiskey and toasted Scott. No one else was home, so I was basically just talking to him out loud. I decided to play the guitar that I got from him in a trade. As I was playing the signal started messing up like there was a short in the cable, or the components of the guitar. There was nothing wrong with the cable and there had not been any issues with that guitar before. I jokingly thought and asked Scott if he was messing with me. The next day when I plugged the guitar in, it played fine with no issues. Scott and I had similar beliefs and I'm not one to believe in the supernatural. I don't know what caused the guitar not to work that night, but it reminded me a little of the horse story.

Zombie Zemmy? If anyone could pull it off....

Is it a fake?

Wow, things are slow in this thread lately. EG, you are usually holding down the fort. What has your attention these days?

Oh hai!

It's starting to get hot here. Supposed to be 100 on monday. And thats just the start. :embarrassed:

I keep hearing that "its not as bad here, its a dry heat"

The jury is still out for me. :embarrassed:

We have a lot of humidity here in NC. In the summer you almost have to swim through the air.

Yeah, i was out there for a few weeks one time, in Cary, NC. If i recall it's just south of Raleigh. And yeah, hot and sticky. My forehead would bead with sweat just walking out the door.

Well, it is a dry heat... And, when it hits 125 degrees, you will know just how fucking dry it is... Nevada is a living hell in the summer... Of course, where you were before is a living hell in the summer, so you should be used to being miserable...

I went to an outdoor wedding once in Phoenix, AZ, in May, and it was 122 degrees in the shade... BRUTAL!!! Nevada is just as bad...
