That Seedy Table In The Dark Corner Where The Reprobates Gather

Yea, that sounds pretty bad... There is a reason I don't own a street bike... I borrowed my friends crotch rocket recently, and noticed I was up to 125 mph just like that... One deer can ruin your day!

Well, I brought my KTM into the shop a few days ago... I've had it for 5 years, and have done all the work on it myself, so I figure it's due to get the full treatment... Oil and filters, valve adjust, tear apart the swing arm and replace all worn parts, rebuild shock and forks, etc... Gonna cost me a few bucks, but will be good for another 5 years...

I am jonzing to ride in a bad way... The weather is perfect, I live in a mecca of off road trails, and I need to ride!

Which KTM do you have. I have a Honda CR250. I have ridden and raced most of my life.

My Greek yogurt with honey is mighty good right now... Yea, I've had my share of crashes over the last 34 years of riding dirt bikes... Fortunately, none involved a car... Still, I keep riding... They say that you don't quit riding because you get old, you get old because you quit riding... There is some truth to that... Up north, one of my dirt riding friends is 71...

My whole family rode off road growing up. I started riding motorcycles even before bicycles. I sold my last bike (CBR 600 F2) 16 years ago when my son was born since I didn't want to end up dead or in a wheelchair. I had my fair share of crashes over the years.

I'd love to ride again, but advanced osteoporosis would shatter me like glass if I went down hard these days. I'd love to have an Indian now that I've outgrown crotch rockets. I'd even settle for a modern one since I can't afford a vintage one.

that doesn't look like a giutar solo!

I busted 4 ribs on something like that once, and blew my knee sideways

never again

Nice! It's the 450 EXC... I've never raced, but always had bikes since the 70s... That's what my karts are for... :)

Nice.

Did you watch the Atlanta Supercross last night. Dungey won on his KTM 450.

I had a couple of F2's back in the day. A '92 and a '93.
