awww, that a cute slobberpuss

no that one is actually quite entertaining

my recurring nightmare, i'm in a car accident, i'm thrown from the wreck, laying on the ground injured bad...and everyone i know is standing around me, looking at me on the ground, blank expressions, and none of them will help me

eventually i become so upset that i wake up
If I were there - I'd pick you up. Right after I got the guitars out. Nooooo - you would be first.

I actually was in a very bad car accident about 3 months ago - I posted this on HCEG. I totaled my ford - but all I got was a very small cut under one fingernail. Really.

ME TOO!

That's my most frequent nightmare. It at least happens weekly, sometimes nightly. I've got about a thousand degrees, you'd think my psyche would give it a fucking rest already.

Taking a Test
Many people dream they are back in school taking a test, even those who finished school long ago. If you dream you are taking a test but are having difficulty and are scared of failing it, it may be symbolic of your mood during waking hours - anxious and agitated.

There are probably factors within your dream that are causing you to fail the test, such as your pen does not work or you run out of time before you can complete the exam. Dreaming of failing a test because you are hindered in some way can indicate a lack of self-confidence.

This dream is not actually about the test, but it is the factors causing you to fail the test that are causing you to feel stressed and nervous. Look at your life and see what might be causing you to feel you are not good enough. See if there are changes that can be taken which will make you feel better about the situation.

tried lookin my dream up long ago, no luck

unsettling to think i'm so fucked up my recurring nightmare isnt even in the dream explanation books

so, one time i had this dream that i was at work, but there wasn't any power. we were running all the machinery off of generators and had flood lights. my dept manager, leadman, and expediter were gathered behind our 1250 ton press smoking hash, next thing i know, i'm gettin 3 days off for smokin' up the bosses stash... and i was in tighy whiteys to boot, i wear boxers:confused:

most of my recurring dreams are about an ex girlfriend of mine coming back and telling me that she messed up and that she is still in love with me or my wife cheating on me...

I've been to Europe many times. I like to visit. But I like living here better. I really have no desire to leave while my dad is dying and my mom is overwhelmed by what's going on. They need too much help. I may even have to sell my house to live with them just because they need the help. I love my parents dearly, but the thought of moving back in with them at 45 does not thrill me at all.

The worst of it is that he is in constant pain. He barely has enough strength to walk to the bathroom. But he doesn't have Alzheimers and is totally aware of going on. I feel so helpless in this situation. But I know that there isn't much that I can do other than to help them as best as I can.

It's rough dealing with the major illness of a loved one. I remember when one grandma was dying of cancer, and just a year later, when the other one was significantly disabled by a stroke. It's very stressful to everybody. I know it's hard, but all I can say is hang in there. I almost lost my mom 3 years ago, to a congenital heart defect, that reared its ugly head, giving her a life threatening arrhythmia. And it was hard then too.

Thank you all! I have already cried more for this little dog than for some humans that have passed. Some good news came that same night upon our return, our kitty had kitties.

Awwww! In spite of the fact that I can only have 2 cats in my apartment (I already have 2), I'd adopt one of the kittens, and chance having 3 of them. But, we're too far away from each other. Matt, as a volunteer at a no-kill animal shelter (I"ll probably ahve to deliver a cot for an adoption tonight, after I'm done here at work) - please, have momma cat spayed, once she's done nursing. There is such an overpopulation of cats and dogs nowadays, that a lot of them wind up feral.

I've have a different variation of it - in spite of having 2 engineering degrees. In my case, it's the ultimate blow off the class scenario - as in "OMG! it's the last week of classes, I've done no studying at all, none of the assignments, and I have finals and a term paper/design project due at the end of the week! I am SO SCREWED!" Luckily, I only have this nightmare once in a blue moon.

I used to have dreams about being back with my first wife. But I have not had that dream for a long time.

Hi Jello, Alex, Mark, Damon, and what do I call Help...?

Tallking about dreams, I had a number of dreams that were recurring. Basically 80% of the time I would have repeating dreams. About two years ago I got involved with this Meditation group. (Not trying to convert anyone here - PM if you are interested in talking more about this.) Anyway, there are a lot of reading associated with this meditation group. Once I got into the readings, my dream life changed dramaticially, and I don't have nearly as many recurring dreams. I don't know why this happened, but it did.
