I don’t do prayers or mojo, but if you wanna hire someone to break into @Jbird ‘s house and steal all of his records and replace them with jazz LPs, then you have my blessing.

If you don’t hear from me personally by Monday, I’ve made arrangements for someone to post an update on my behalf. But that shouldn’t be necessary. Even if the surgery is unsuccessful, it still isn’t especially risky.

Goes without saying, I would hope, but if anything goes wrong, you guys are gonna have to take care of @DdBob .
