TBH, a strat is about as ergonomic as I need.

Nah, not for me. I never really had much of an issue with the ergonomics of the guitar.

Don't see the ergonomic advantage. I find my Teles any Peavey Wolfgang to be my most comfy guitars. With my gargantuan gut, oddly, Strat contours can feel odd.

I was about to post the same thing. And if you don’t like Strats plenty of Les Paul style guitars have a belly cut.

First thing that came to my mind, as well... rotflmao

Still, I like the Telecaster-ish control layout of the Steen better....even if it looks like it was made in 7th Grade Shop Class!
