Some photos of last night's bike ride

wildlife spotted on my run this morning:

he looks as surprised to see me as I was to see him

nuh uh, he charged me right after I took that pic and I'm dead now. I set up an elaborate dead-man's-switch for just such an accusation on this forum (things have been a bit slow prior to my rhino-goring death)

Are you doing that old people thing where you just call out the name of things you see? *spits* Might be time we talk about moving you to a home.

I like mornings best.

I tried riding in the morning for a while but it was always foggy/misty and I'd just end up wet. Plus I didn't have any energy. *spits*

Well I am 50 today. It's weird, not one of those "OMG I"m 50 I need a mid life crisis" things BUT There was a time when 50 seemed ancient. I also realised I hopefully on ly have 15 years left of work (Cuz if I can take early retirement, assuming it's even an option then) then I will. That means I'm like 2/3rds of the way through my work life. I look back at 2005 (15 years ago) and it seems a long time but not THAT LONG ago *spits*

Happy 60th, DdBob. It occurred to me that it was your birthday last night but then I woke up to the transformer popping and I've been half awake ever since. *spits*

ps Happy 70th, DdBob. Also, people who think they're being polite by refusing to treat a bike like a vehicle are annoying. Stop waiting for me to go through stop signs after you got there first and I've already stopped. You're going to get through the intersection a lot faster than me. And stop following me like a creep when there's room to pass.

Have you considered they might actually be creeps :cop:
