Global warming =/= climate change. News pundits and politicians use the terms interchangeably (and often derisively), but that doesn't invalidate climate change's existence.

absolutely agree with climate change.....just not that THE WHOLE GLOBE IS GETTING WARMER.....bullshit.

in fact...there are quite a few scientific measurements that actually point to an oncoming ICE AGE.
 
Temperature and precipitation variations are becoming more extreme. When that affects food production, maybe then it will receive the appropriate attention since crime and warfare will skyrocket and quickly.

I'm over simplifying for the sake of brevity. There is much more involved.

we are an inch and a half of breaking the all time snow record for january......31" for the month. we had about 10" between xmas and new years.
and we have February and March yet. both KNOWN for their snow fall.

so....chalk this winter up to say....about 6 feet for the season...ish
 
and then there's where i'm "from".....northern mountains of Pa.
winter season will likely be somewhere in the 10 foot range.

yea, i saw those snow rollers on the news last night. would have been cool to video record those happening.
 
Dry, and a bit chilly. Inverted with a little fog in the low areas. Feeling a change in the air coming, and we are supposed to get some snow. I hope it happens.

14 days of record heat here.

Actually the whole earth has been getting warmer it's pretty well documented. But what all of this means seems to be much more extremes. While there is an extreme cold and maybe tons of snow where you are somewhere else is the exact opposite like here.
 
Well, there were clouds yesterday and this morning.

We have some rain coming to Nor Cal. Finally.

Lets see...moderately dry fall and winter last year. Long dry spring and summer. As for this fall and winter...rained two days, snowed once. That's it.
