Dig it! So, a tale about that guitar I got at Sweetwater GearFest this weekend...

Sorry I missed you.

Didya get a Holcomb SE?
No worries, I was there early on Friday. I fact I was one of the first people through the door.

When I went into the PRS tent and it was me, Bryan Ewald, and Paul there. I was looking at a CE to get an idea of what the pattern thin neck was like.

They came over and talked to me, and long story short I left with a CE in charcoal burst.

Also, Paul was wearing a frilly Seinfeld like shirt.

Wait.... It was this PAST weekend?

Fuuuuuuuck.... I thought it was THIS COMING weekend.

I went last year, first time in a long time my niece and nephew were not playing at the Bourbonus Friendship Festival. Gear Fest and Friend are always the same weekend, the weekend before July 4th.

Looks nice! It's just a 25.5" scale, and not a baritone?

That os correct. Holcomb explains that he’s tried longer scales, but even with heavier strings, he feels extended scales feel too slick in the higher frets
