I've done the death watch for my Mom so I know how hard it is to sit there, hoping on one hand that it will end will you are there, and on the other hand that a miracle happens and she is back to the person you know and love not the one dying before your eyes. Most of us recognize that death is a natural and expected end for all things but it never makes it any easier with someone you care deeply for.
