SG with P90s vs Humbuckers

Title says it all, I have a guy that wants me to trade me two guitars for a bike I don't ride that I have no money in.

One is an Epiphone SG with buckers and the other is a Gibson USA with P90s.

I think I'll keep the SG with P90s and throw the Epiphone off a bridge

Thoughts? Discuss....

Interesting question. Were I to get and SG I would want two HBs. HOWEVER, arguably the best sounds I've heard from SGs have been from Carlos Santana and Pete Townshend both with P-90s. The reason it's arguably is due the awesomeness of Duane Allman, Cream era Clapton (some of which was the done of the Fool), and Derek Trucks...also Audely Freed.

Really though, it seems that a P-90 or PAF style HB jammed into a piece of mahogany is pretty much guaranteed to sound great.

if you dont like the p90s you can swap some minis in the route. they arent full on bucker, and have their own unique sound but they work very well. almost like a sharper, brighter more focused PAF.

I'm not sure. The only real features it has are the p90s and a satin finish.
