Help! Settle a bet between me and my dad - do raindrops sound like "pleem plom pleem" or "tuk te tuk tuk"?

My dad swears up and down that raindrops hitting the pavement sound like tuk te tuk tuk but I think they obviously sound more like pleem plom pleem, what say you?
