Schecter is such a weird company. They're always great value and the US and Japanese stuff is crazy good. But they're just determined to own the dorky metal guitar landscape and it affects perception. On one hand they're dominating an entire market segment and have for years. But on the other hand they're consistently shooting themselves in the dick.
