Mojo Request Saved the horse, but

That really puts a damper on the holidays. Looking at the photos, it seems that she at least had a long life, and a happy one.
 
And we came out to feed the horses this morning and Pistol had passed.

Not totally unexpected, and we did what we could, but still a little bit of a kick to the nuts.

Went out to feed this morning and Pistol's older brother-from-another-mother had passed in the night. RIP Forge.

Fuckin' over this shit, man.

Thanks, dude. Been a rough couple of months here. In addition to the critters, my paternal grandfather died (dementia related) and my kids great grandpa Mac died this week. They were both aged, and not necessarily unexpected, but it's been a bad fucking month nonetheless.

Haven't processed yet, haven't cried yet. The kiddos took it pretty hard, but they're resilient. Wife is a mess. I'm gonna go ahead and get good and drunk I think.
