the reviews on these have been great.
It IS a great pedal. I was hoping that I could do the SRV thing with it but at a louder volume but it just doesn’t clean up enough. As far as TS pedals go, it’s a good one. I just found myself barely using it on stage though since it’s so close to other sounds I already have in my rig. I think I’d rather put the money towards something else I’m looking at though.

totally get it. I recently bought a Diamond 902, which is sort of in the same ballpark, but it wants to jump into gain right off the line. Was hoping it'd be tamer for longer. Sounds awesome, but not exactly what I was looking for.

That might just be an inherent thing in this circuit. If the pedal has more output (like th RYRA) maybe they are pushing something else hard enough that you just can’t have it very clean to start with. Also, I’m using humbuckers with everything, which also pushes the font of the pedal harder.
