So after the poor bastards riding in that thing touch down and think they have safely arrived at their destination: KABOOM!

Most of that stack is long gone before they get to orbit, let alone their destination.

It was my understanding that it would all go in one piece and land on Mars and/or the moon like that and they they would ferry fuel tanks into orbit with the Falcon rockets.
