Robben Ford's '60 Tele

Robben and his Tele sound great. I would have liked to hear the Tele without any reverb. I always feel like I can hear a guitar best straight into an amp. Yet, even with reverb, I could hear the way the Tele sounded "hollow" as he described.
 
I saw Robben with his band in the early 90s at a "pop-up show" (before that term was even coined) that was basically set up in the corner of a restaurant. He was playing his Fender Esprit and probably that same Tele through his Dumble head. The Esprit sounded amazing, but the Tele had enough high end slice to peel everyone's faces off.

From that video, it sounds like he worked the bugs out.
