And to cap it all, mrs_huge was driving home from the wilds of North Norfolk yesterday when she was alarmed by the coolant level warning coming on in the other car. I suspect that it is just the sensor being faulty as it still comes on intermittently now, even though the levels are fine.
Elvis will inshallah soon be in the building.

Evening hacked German Chancellors 
Another day, more pish hunting for houses.
Put another offer in on a place. 10k under it's fixed price but the cnut is desperate to move down South and it's not sold for the asking price in 18 months so I'm not going to be the muppet that pays full price.
Sat in with a Slater Hogg mortgage advisor who was telling me all about what she can do to help me and how super awesome it'll be to take out a mortgage with them - for 400 notes.
Mental note taken of all her suggested lenders who will be Googled in turn over the weekend

I see a lot of places are moving away from putting the age on the bottles - I was recently bought a MacAllan's Gold. It's nice but let's be honest, the only reason for doing this is a money saving exercise - MacAllan's Gold could be ANYTHING over 3 years and I certainly doubt they're going to stop putting the age on their 20+ bottles...

Recovering. Yesterday was tough, but it was a joy to see how well-loved by how many lovely people (some of whom had come from as far as Hong Kong to be at his wake) my brother was. We cried and then we partied.
