resurection of a Cort Strat copy... my first build...

this guitar was given to me by a buddy of mine and then Ken from Rose Pickups was kind enough to hook me up with a set of Meriposas. i need to learn how to do my own finish work, pups, etc... so i'm teaching myself on this. got the body painted today. it didn't turn out quite as bad as i thought... theres one or two blemishes where i handled it too soon, but i think i'll leave it... gives it character... pics...

i originally got the copper color for my peavey strat copy. i was gonna do the duplicolor mirage thing with this one. but, the kits are far and few between and they cost too much to order online... i think i like this just fine anyhow...

still mulling it over... but, i think i'll probably end up clearing it... i think it'd bring the color out even more...

Good to know. I guess I can choose just about anything as long as I take the body down to wood and then prime it? I'm thinking a powdery pink color would look cool for the missus.
