Reported Howard the Duck Has Died.... I'll be honest fellas, this parody thread really quacks me up!

This ain't half bad...

My main memory of that movie is that during that interminable gyrocopter chase scene, someone sitting behind me giddily shouted "This is GREAT!" and giggled with glee. I had to look back, just to satisfy my curiosity, and it was some goofy dude in glasses and smile a mile wide. This movie spoke to him.

We should all find such joy in the never-ending river of dreck that is life as that guy did.

I saw it repeatedly in the 80s but not since. I want to say there's some kind of gyrocopter scene. That's all I remember.

Did you live in Houston in the 80's?

And that man was smurfco from the future.

I was probably eight and I think they kept showing it on HBO or Cinemax.

It’s so horrible. I remember watching this POS movie (on VHS, our parents new better than to take us to the movies) as a kid and the song was like diarrhea icing on a cake made of rock hard turds. Funny or Die should remake this as a first wave black metal band, it couldn’t be worse than the original.

Terrible movie. Even the Madonna-ish makeover of Lea Thompson was a bit off putting.
