Qtips are mainly for cleaning out your ears, right?

Never heard of this, can you elaborate? mix ratio?

Never heard of this either. I've tried Debroxit, didn't work. Please elaborate too. Why not pour it in?
It’s a 1 to 1 ratio and you can also add warm water but I just ended going without water after a while. It’s an old home remedy and if you search “swimmers ear treatment “ or similar you will see it mentioned a lot.
I first heard about it from my old bosses wife years ago and she said her doctor recommended it. I find it more effective than OTC stuff like debrox

*edit* you can then use a spoon, a cottontail soake or a dropper and just dump it in your ear (head tilted), leave in for 20 second or so....whatever is comfy and then tilt your head so it drains out....shake yer heard if need be as well as push on the outer piece of the eardrum . Do it a few days in a row id need be, once a day

The men in my family produce a lot of wax so we have to regularly "Earigate" our ears.
I've been to the ER twice with impacted wax. These days I put hydrogen peroxide on a qtip and lay on my side and let it drip into the ear canal not actually inserting the qtip. Seems to work since I haven't been to the ER in about a decade.
I had to get my left ear irrigated about 10 years ago but never since. Then I found out about the alcohol/vinegar (and also the peroxide but I've never tried the peroxide)

I've found that a little goes a long way. I do it about once a week and it seems to keep me clean/loosen stuff up. While in the shower I'll run my pinky around and it always comes out with something. Again, we are heavy wax makers. You could probably pour it in but it definitely makes a racket in there. I'm just scared to do too much.

I do a little safety maneuver when I use a Qtip. I don’t hold it down at the far end but up where my fingers are about one ear canal’s depth from the business end. That way they bottom out on my outer ear and help to guard against over penetration

is it perfect? No. Does it help a little? I choose to believe it does
