Prs vela suggestions for a different set of pickups

I recently got a Vela. I absolutely love the way it plays. I just wish it had a modern more aggressive sound. I was thinking of putting a Tremonti in the bridge position but what are my options for a prs pickup in the neck position that would give me a nice thick humbucker tone?

I play mostly with a bit of gain aka Nuno, Vai and Satch.

My amp is either an evh 5150 III or a tech 21 richie Kotzen fly rig.

Thanks in advance

A cursory glance at TGP tells me, as I suspected the other day, a standard minibucker is a direct replacement for the Vela's Dearmond style pickup. So get whatever minibucker you want.

You buy a guitar that is Vintage-vibe and you then look at putting in modern buckers.

Why not get something that has the same playability and a modern tone in the first place

Anyway, 2 weeks

Why not just try to help and answer the questions originally posted instead of giving your two cents about what you think I should be buying?

Thanks

Look up what Nuno, Vai, and Satch's guitars are made of. If this one isn't made of the same wood sell it without parting it up because you're not going to get close enough. If it is made of the same wood then consider getting Vai or Satch pickups but I don't think that's really the answer either because both Vai and Satch run a lot stuff in there signal. I have no idea what Nuno does as I've never been a fan of his playing/tone etc. I'm really not sure where you're going with this because you are a seasoned player and have had literally dozens and dozens of guitars. Makes me feel like I'm being groomed for something.

Simply notorious. 30 days.

What do you mean 'you people'?
