I own a Vela. It’s a fantastic guitar, and mine will never play wonderwall.This is actually a nice guitar. Probably I don't need it, and will never buy it, but if someone handed me it I would play "Wonderwall" for them.

That seems to be the case with a lot of guitars lately. Sourcing parts from Asia is difficult because of tariffs. And stocks are down due to the plague and production slowdowns. Also demand is up for guitars since the beginning of the pandemic.

For some reason I've been jones'ing for an SG. And a 335. and a V. Sadly don't have the cash for any of them. I would totally make an offer on this if I did.I know a guy who might sell you his barely used 2013 Gibson SG Standard Natural Burst for the same price he paid for it, $899.
You just have to pick it up in Clear Lake.

I have GASed over the S2 McCarty many many times....
in my world though I would make a custom pickguard that looks like a Vela pickguard, replacing the two bezels... then it would cover the four volume & Tone pot holes... I would use two of the holes (through the body and pickguard) for the master volume and tone, and one hole for a mini-toggle for splits. Leave the fourth covered. Toggle would stay up on horn. But im a monster, so there’s that.
