Premium Cigars

My grandfather smoked cigars and a pipe. He kept his pipe tobacco in an old wooden wall telephone. Unfortunately, he died of emphysema, but lived 7 years beyond what the doctors expected. He put one of his O2 bottles in the back of his station wagon and ran a tube up to his nasal cannula up front.

Please tell me the station wagon was a hot rod and there's a funny story about the time grandpa got the O2 and nitrous oxide lines crossed.

I enjoy an occasional cigar, smoke maybe 10 a year. Usually it involves sitting on a fishing boat or around a campfire. I’m also a fan of the medium to fuller bodied options. A few good ones I can recall are the CAO flathead, Montecristo Espada, 601 blue label, Herrera Esteli, and most of the AJ Fernendez lineuo.

I keep mine in a Tupperdor - a big latching gasketed plastic container with 2 cedar trays in it and a 62% Boveda pack. It requires as close to zero maintenance as you can get when it comes to storing cigars. I kinda enjoy the collecting aspect. I probably have more cigars in storage than I’ll ever smoke.

The Flathead 660 is one of my favorites. Big fan of AJ too. I've become a bit obsessed with Super dark but not peppery smokes. I definitely lean more NIcaraguan than everything else but I enjoy some Dominican and Mexican (Love San Andres wrappers)
