Potential disaster! ( AC15 content )

The weather here has been great at night. The nights get to 65°F ,so I leave the windows open.
It rained this morning before I woke up.
My AC15 was sitting under a window, and got pretty wet. :panic:
I dried it off,and now have a fan blowing on it. I plan on letting it dry out for a month.
I haven't had rain blow through that window before, even during monsoon season.
What an idiot.:headsmash:

Use a hair dryer to dry it out. It should be okay after it's dry.
I am a bald old guy. No hair dryer.
My garage heats up in the day time.with a fan blowing on it, the amp should dry out.
It just sucks. I love that amp.

What are the cab and baffle made of? Plywood= should be OK. MDF= not so much.

Well I powered up the amp,and no pffffzzztt.
The magic smoke is still inside the amp.
It's a huge relief. I really like this amp.

Now is the time I should probably remind you that I had a JBL 1000 watt powered 2 way cab take a swim in a lake.....

... I poured all the water out the sound port, took it home, disassembled the speaker, powered plate amp, took out the fiberglass fill.... dried whatever I could with a hair dryer, let it all sit inside for a few days, and after reassembling the damned thing never missed a gig.

I'm sure it took some life off the end of the components, but I sold all of them after 4 or 5 years and went line array, but never had any of them fail at a gig.
