I know this is the third time I've posted this pic on the forum :)o) but I thought this would be interesting to see everything you guys take to play out...

This guitar too (the amp its leaning on is already dead. Thanks Fender.)

I have other guitars that I'll occasionally take out but this is the current "A" rig.

No pics of everything together, but...
Fender Blacktop Strat
Charvel So Cal
Peavey Classic 30
Boss GT-8
Homemade 1x12 tweed extension cabinet

Mine changes depending on how much gear I feel like schlepping.

Sent from The Restaurant at the End of the Universe.

I don't have a pic of my new pedalboard yet, but it's Taylor 114CE, pitchblack tuner, boss EQ, boss DD5 delay, Boss tremolo, Boss compressor, PADI, into the board. There's a clock on there, too.

I haven't played live in over a decade. Here is a pic of my live rig from then. I didn't use the Nomad, just the Mark I and the Rat

I'll try to take a pic sometime. It's pretty basic.

Epi dot or tele, depending on my mood that day into a polytune into the Mesa single rec halfstack.

Not a great picture but here it is. My rig on the right.

Carvin X100-B into two 212 cabs. One Carvin with V30s and a home made with G12T-75s. My beat to hell HSS Strat and my Strait 6 Strat (can't see in the pic). I ditched my pedal board a while ago for a Boss ME-70.

Gibson R8 Les Paul and Fender Palo Escrito Tele
Going into Korg Blackout Tuner >> EQD Hoof Fuzz >> Analogman Mini-BiComp >> Washburn Soloist Distortion >> Fulltone Clyde Deluxe >> Whammy IV >> Mojo Pedals Klone >> Strymon Mobius >> MXR Carbon Copy
H&K Statesman 50 watt into a 412 cab

The pedal board will require some more tweaking, though. I'm not really getting what I want out of the Hoof, BiComp, or the Carbon Copy for my current purposes.

and the guitar of the day. That little amp is amazing! It cuts through the mix like crazy and is only like 24" tall and 20" wide with a single 12" Jensen C12N

Here's my gigging rig (I'm the guy behind the buckets & brass). When the band plays out, that's my role:

I play guitar and sing most Sundays in church. When I do, I play either a 6-string, or a 12-string. The 6-string goes to the XLR jack, and into the board. When I go with the 12-string, it takes a direct box to get to the XLR jack.

I generally go with this this 6-string Ibanez EW20ASE Figured Ash A/E:

Occasionally, I pull out the 12-string Takamine EG523sc-12 A/E:

The new 6-string in the rotation is this Alvarez AD60CESB , and it will probably become the go to A/E:

Where are those pedals falling short?
They're just not getting the specific sounds I'm needing right now. It's likely a mix of trying to fit square pegs through a round hole and just not having the signal chain as it needs to be. I have been using the compressor as a solo boost, but I'll probably just swap for my BB Pre. The Hoof isn't getting the 90s fuzz sound I'm searching for, so I'll probably revert back to my m1 fuzz I was using before. Then I just haven't been able to get a good sounds out of the carbon copy in front of my H&K Statesman. It should probably be in the fx loop.

Sent from in my pants.

Makes sense. :)

Pop the top on the rack section of the RP-1. The battery corrodes and eats away the rivets in the battery holder, then the holder comes loose from the termination to the board. I did a repair on one this week that had the original battery from 1992. Lol.

*edit*. Looking back at the slip it was a GSP21 Legend. Carry on.

Here is my rig and even though I am playing other guitars, the Sonex is my go to for now. My pedalboard is in a constant state of flux. My dirt pedal kick may have slowed do to the superior sound of amp distortion and the addition of the Joyo for solos and added grit.

I recently repaired a rack unit GSP21 Legend with the same battery issue, just had to clean the battery connections and install new battery...lol! It is the same exact unit except it has some pro settings from George Lynch and some others. But, it works the same way as far as programming and sounds.

My parts tele,1976 Gibson Les Paul Custom with a Dimarzio Super Distortion in the Bridge and a FRED in the neck. The Les Paul Just SINGS thru the Marshall.
