Post your favorite muscle car

The Yenco and COPO/ZL-1 Camaros were something not to mess with, but I've never seen in IRL. They are so rare, only wealthy collectors have them now.

COPO...

I have a buddy who's dad has a COPO. He may have bought it new back in '67 or whenever they were offered, though.

You guys know I'm a sucker for all things 80's cheese.....so this should come as no surprise. I want (and one day intend to own) a 3rd gen IROC-Z with the 5.7 TPI. I guess it doesnt truly count as a muscle car, but .... it's as close as I can say is my favorite.

I can't stand people like that. If you can't/won't fix and drive 'em, then sell 'em. They almost always know what they're worth, too.

Maybe my disdain is because of my ex-father in law. He had a '58 Apache that I practically begged to buy off him. He wouldn't, mainly because he just didn't like me. :) That truck is still there, or what's left. What a damn shame.

Guy was an odd one. Step father of a guy that I went to school with, made a ton of cash back in the 60s and dropped it on a bunch of nice cars that he basically drove till they broke then parked them in the barn. Tons of guys have tried to talk him into selling but he sees them as some kinda insurance policy that he can cash in if he's ever broke.

Wont be worth as much as he thinks if they're just sitting and rusting and rusting and rusting ....
Apparently a family member of my wife has a Buick GNX sitting in a garage rotting. It kills me.

Pure pensyltucky good old boy. There was the other guy I posted about before that owned several gas stations and built up an office around 3 or 4 cars that were in a garage, effectively walling them in forever (or until someone tore down the walls). There was a vette, willys truck and a couple others I can't recall down there. My Ex-FIL had several cars that he never drove including a 64 and a half Mustang that his Mother-in-Law was the first owner and a bitching F100 that was all pro-street'd up while he tooled around in his GNX and old Vette vert. In the 8 years I knew him, I don't think either of those vehicles moved 2 feet.

My FIL, to his credit, loves driving his collection and doesn't bat an eye about taking a car out on a crappy day.

There are a couple of Yenko Camaros around here, but I live only about 20 minutes from where Don Yenko had his dealership. My boss has one with the aluminum block. I've only seen it in pictures as he won't bring it out.

Whoa, mine is for sale only a few miles from my house. I think I'll go buy it today...
