It's funny how each pancake gets a fingerprint from the pan it is cooked in , the placement of the batter, etc...so
as the titlew says post a pic of your pancake, let's see those pancakes !!

show me a waffle that has a unique character such as myn pancake above.....
Waffles are the McDonalds of griddle cakes...cookie cutter prefab house of griddle batter whereas the pancake is like a craftsman handbuilt home or a handmade burger at the local greasy spoon...each unique as a star in the sky....
 
Sorry I don't have any pics of my pancakes currently. I probably should since it's like a fingerprint and could help identify my pancake if it was lost or stolen. I do promise, next time I make pancakes I will find this thread and post one.
 
We were just talking about pancakes the other night. I'd like to try making the American variant. Over here we cover the whole frying pan and make these ultra-thin large ones and then roll them with whatever you want inside. Orange cream with Grand Marnier or Cointreau is my fave.

over here I believe we call those crepes. For the mericuhn' pancake you just put butter on top and lots of maple syrup or mix blueberries in the batter and you can also do blueberry syrup

exactly...if I want a bland (unbrowned) pancake then I will go to denny's or IHOP
 
Yay! We did it! We made 'Murichun Pancakes! Dropped some banana in the dough. They were like 3 inches wide, I guess, and pretty thick and they were delicious-delicious!

Sorry, no pics we just ate them :embarrassed:
