It was a studio faded. I picked it up off the used rack at GC for $375 w/case. It was grimy as hell and barely playable, but with a bit of work it was a pretty cool guitar. I definitely miss it.

Used to own this 1993 Les Paul Studio (hard to tell due to the lighting, but it's wine red):
I lent it to a friend and his wife managed to knock it off the guitar stand while she was cleaning the floor. It suffered a (fairly minor) neck crack. My friend really liked the guitar and I wasn't particularly attached to it, so we did a deal where I would choose a guitar valued at about the same price and he would get it for me.
So I now own this (Japanese-made Burny) and am very happy with it:
