I don’t know, man. Think of how many people who now can afford shirts and shirts with sleeves, functional buttons, etc. vs those old photos. As a Canadian, I figured your appreciate clothing that can actually protect you from the elements. That’s progress right there, little friend.

Well, we wear the same thing in the photos, just with hats, scarves, mittens and various chaps & such. Functional buttons are ok but we use duct tape for so many things that we generally end up using it for fastening as well.
