Played my first round of golf today

The weather here for this weekend does not look promising. Hoping to get a damp round in tomorrow anyway.

it's been freakin' snow flurrying all week. 27-30°, 12-20 mph winds.....BUT WAIT......THERE'S MORE......
sunday will be 51°, partly sunny and around 10mph wind.
already booked the tee time.
also picked up a 72° super lob wedge. can't wait.
 
Played a round at Dos Osos (formerly Eagle Crest Golf Club) in Escondido yesterday, and it was a complete disaster. I couldn't hit my driver at all, so I ended up using my 3-wood off the tee more often, as I seemed to hit that club better than my driver. But I the course has some very narrow fairways, and a lot of hazards and OB that I found on just about every hole. I must have lost about 10 balls that day.
