Watching the team give high fives to the fans around the entire park wall was almost as awesome as seeing Verlander seal the deal in his first home game.

The Rockies have 12 games left and a 2.5 game lead for the final wildcard spot. And only three of those games are against a team with a winning record. and given there good play as of late, I think they have a good shot at the wildcard playin game.

Unfortunately that will be against the Diamondbacks in Arizona and most likely they will pitch Godley who has owned the Rockies this season. Still - They will end up probably 10 wins above my best estimate for the season and had some good young pitchers start to come into their own. All of whom, of course, will leave Colorado as soon as they can since this is not the best place for pitchers.
 
Last two weeks will be fascinating to see who carries momentum into the playoffs.

After looking invincible, the Dodgers threw up all over themselves as the stretch started. The Indians - peaked too soon? Or finally hit their stride? Nationals are waiting on Harper ...

Oddly, none of the teams left 'scare' me except the Dodgers. The way they laid people out earlier this year - for months, too - was amazing to witness.

I'm a Giants fan but I'll be pulling for the Dodgers post season. I know I'm suppossed to hate them but most of their players I have no problem with. Besides that I grew up with a dad who was a Dodger fan since way back. I always remeber Dodgers games on the radio in the car and then in the 80's during the Fernando craze we even went to see them play when we visited California one year.
The team i hate with a passion ....fucking despise them is the Diamondbacks, my home state team. D'backs can go get fucked....real fucked :mad:
