The Mardi Gras krewe of Spanish town puts out giant pink flamingos made out of a full sheets of plywood in the LSU lakes. There is a tradition to go steal one and put it up in your yard. I’ve got one. Good times.

In the late 80s my house was filled with flamingo-related items. People knew I liked flamingos, so I got a lot of things that way.

I'm looking forward to seeing the documentary too.

You know, documentaries that fly under the radar sometimes get nominated for an Oscar. I believe they have a best song in a documentary category. You may want to start working on an acceptance speech.

Absolutely insist they let you bring your guitar on stage if you win. A Mark Wein Guitar Lessons.com shout out at the podium would be super cool.

I don't know where this film is headed. I'm looking forward to it. I recognize the woman at the end. She plays comedic roles.

I imagine this will be an "art house" movie; I can't see it playing at the local Cineplex.

Oddly, in the 80s a lot of folks in Baltimore linked me with John Waters due to the flamingo thing. Now we are two Baltimoreans together in the film.
